Tonight, May 17th, the City Council will host its regular meeting at 7:00 PM PT.

The Alameda Chamber of Commerce & Economic Alliance supports item #7-A on the agenda: “Recommendation to Approve Proposed Term Sheet for Development of Alameda Point Site A and Direct Staff to Negotiate a Sixth Amendment to the Disposition and Development Agreement with Alameda Point Partners Based Substantially on the Term Sheet, as well as Directing Staff to Negotiate Amendments to Ancillary Project Agreements.”

We urge you to support the recommendation as well. While there is a lot of contention around growth on the Island, this is the type of smart development and reuse of land that is helpful to our economy.

Let your voice be heard on this issue. You can attend the meeting via Zoom. City Hall will not be open to the public during the meeting.
