President’s Message
While summer isn’t officially over on the calendar, most people use Labor Day as the unofficial end of the season. Students are back in school, many pools are closed, and people are no longer planning summer getaways.
Focus shifts onto the upcoming series of holidays, fall, and year-end. If you own a business, you’re likely looking at 2022 projects and how your year measured up to those projections. With nearly 3/4 of the year in the record books, it’s also time to start (or continue) planning for 2023.
Do you know what programs are on the horizon that may help your business grow? What about the economic prognosis?
There are many pundits talking about the US economy but what about things that are happening locally in Alameda.
If you have these types of questions and interest in this knowledge, I invite you to come to our Alameda Economic Forecast event. It’s one month away on October 6th (11:30 AM – 1:30 PM, with a 10:30 check-in and meet and greet). The event promises to be one to remember focussing on the expertise of local economic professionals, as well as developers, and transportation experts. Find out more about the event here.
