February is Black History Month where we celebrate the numerous contributions as well as the triumphs and struggles of African Americans. During this month, we highly encourage you to take part in the remembrances and celebrations.

At the Chamber we host a monthly Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Town Hall on educational topics that can help educate and open your eyes to the common struggles in things like speech and societal structures. The seminars are held over Zoom and are some of our most popular. Our next DEI event is on February 27th at 4 PM.

While this month is a good reminder of the struggles African Americans have endured in our society, it’s just the beginning of the ways in which we can educate ourselves and become part of the conversation in working toward establishing a world where everyone feels represented, needed, and valued.
